Getting Here


Dôl Swynol is on the edge of the historic village of Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn in West Wales, 7 miles from the sea side town of Aberystwyth.  The village sits in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, an "Area of Astounding Natural Beauty."  The postcode is SY23 4LA. Travel by car
It is around 3 hours by car from Birmingham and Manchester and under 5 hours from central London.  

Five narrow lanes lead into the centre of the village.  The approach from the A4120 is steep as well as narrow and we recommend driving via Aberystwyth and the B4340 if you are unused to driving on this type of road.  You will receive full arrival instructions as part of the booking process

Travel by train or bus
There is a train and bus service to Aberystwyth. There is taxi rank at the train station or you can arrange a taxi with HopTon taxis who are based in the village.  Tel: 07487523133

Shops

There is no shop in the village although the village pub y Ffarmers serves evening meals from Wednesday to Saturday and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

We supply teas and coffees and some welcome supplies including bread and milk, to get you started but we recommend that you bring other food and drinks with you.  Alternatively, there are a variety of supermarkets and food shops in Aberystwyth.
